Our Story

•        Sea Salt, or Pa’akai in Hawaiian, plays such a crucial role in both the history of Hawaii and human survival world-wide. Scott and Meme both grew up on the North Shore of O’ahu, where most days were spent from Sun up till Sun down in the ocean. The cultural significance of Salt was always something they understood but never really appreciated until they started to travel the world. Realizing that Hawaiian waters were exceptional in terms of purity, Scott knew there was potential to blend the historic significance with a modern twist. From there, the idea of Haleiwa Salt was born. Haleiwa Salt Company is a small family operation producing Hawaiian Flake Sea Salt, handmade in small batches from the North Shore of O'ahu.

  Each batch of Salt is collected, cultivated, packaged, and shipped from the small historic town of Haleiwa.
